January 2004 The original Veltex gasoline station sign returned earlier this month to the nearly finished 5-story Veltex multi-tenant building at Fifth and Main streets in downtown Boise. The gas station, which dated back to 1936, was raised in fall 2002 to make way for this 50,000 square foot structure, developed by Bill Clark. Boise firms Jordan-Wilcomb Construction and Erstad Thornton Architects are the $8 million building's contractor and designer. |
