About Sam

After graduating from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior & Sustainable Design, Sam spent her time traveling internationally and moving around the west coast before landing in Boise in early 2022. She worked at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, traveled across Vietnam by motorcycle, and had many other adventures across Europe, Bali, and Australia. Professionally, she moved through different parts of the design industry from high-end residential architecture in San Francisco, to large scale multi-family residential interior design in Portland, and finally over to residential design/build in both Portland & Boise before making the decision that commercial interior design is her jam. When it comes to design, she has naturally been drawn to the interior design profession since she was a young girl space planning for her barbies and making every effort to convince adults to let her use power tools for small scale furniture pieces. She enjoys the unique problem solving and balance of creativity + logic that this profession requires, and is always considering constructability, realistic solutions, and the true needs of the end user(s). When she isn’t buried underneath a pile of tile samples at her desk or drafting on a deadline you can find her riding her Triumph Bonneville on backroads, off roading in the mountains, or spending time with loved ones.
