Forge International School provides a unique opportunity for International Baccalaureate education in Middleton, Idaho and the rural community that surrounds it.  Completed in 2019, Phase I of the school’s flagship building encompasses the lower and middle school program with administrative offices, a full-sized gymnasium, and a kitchen. Drawing from the rural and industrial regions around it, the building features rustic materials. At the main entry, real wood siding sets the tone, while the gym is clad in corrugated metal. Gabled roof forms of more corrugated metal provide way-finding cues at the entries to each wing. At windows and throughout the interior, color blocking provides visual interest and feeds the youthful energy of this innovative school.
