Bogus Basin turned to erstad to help design and revitalize one of its most iconic facilities: the Pioneer Lodge. With updates planned across all three floors, this renovation is designed to improve both the functionality and the experience for guests and staff. The remodel of the space includes a full exterior resurfacing on all three levels of the lodge to align with the existing metal panel and stucco palette, maintaining the character of the building while giving it a fresh, cohesive look. A new addition will create a clearly defined and more accessible main entrance—making arrival easier and more intuitive for visitors. Inside, we’re updating finishes, enhancing lighting, and ensuring all spaces meet current codes. But more than that, we’re working to bring a renewed sense of energy and warmth to the lodge. Once complete, the updated Pioneer Lodge will be ready to welcome guests for many more seasons of adventure and connection.
